Camp Kuzuma is situated about a 45 minute road transfer from Kasane Airport in a South Westerly direction in Kazuma Forest Reserve. It borders Chobe National Park on the Western side and Kazuma National Park on the Zimbabwe side. Our area is about 4000 square kilometers in size. The camp is situated 13 Kilometers from the Chobe National Park “Poha” gate. All our activities are land based: Drives, Night Drives and Guided Walks. We also offer other excursions in the Chobe National Park, on the Chobe River and to Victoria Falls at additional cost.

The lodge has five double/ten twin beds in a 49 square meter luxury suite,
equipped with Victorian style, high-back baths, double inside shower, outside
shower and his & hers basins.
We have a Wellness centre that offers a variety of treatments. The main area
consists of a fine dining area, a luxury lounge/library and a well equipped
bar. All this overlooks a watering hole that is frequented by an abundance of
wild life and in the evenings is floodlit for the night activity. The whole
camp is under canvas and is elevated to minimize the carbon footprint, and
which creates security from the wildlife which is free to roam the camp in
access to the watering hole.
We have incorporated a totally “green” lodge from our battery packs, inverters
to solar geyser and septic environmentally friendly tanks- even offering eco
friendly product range from our Spa.

Camp Kuzuma is the newest private and exclusive safari lodge to open in the
Chobe region. Situated 65km outside of Kasane in the pristine Kuzuma Forest
Reserve the lodge offers a unique Botswana experience not found in this area.
Camp Kuzuma is located overlooking a regularly frequented waterhole and open
plains of the Kuzuma Pans. With over 4000 square kilometres of private
traversing concession Camp Kuzuma offers an incredible wilderness experience
seldom found in Africa.
The camp is reminiscent of the 1800 era when the great explorers such as Henry
Stanley and David Livingstone explored the plain of Africa and Victoria Falls-Mosi oa Tunya
(The Smoke that Thunders). Our 5 Luxury Tented suites, up to 49 square meter
offers luxury and comfort in this wilderness area. All suites are tastefully
decorated with the feel of an 1800 style camp reminiscent of the days of David
Livingstone. The luxury suites’ bathrooms offer a high back Victoria baths,
double basins, double inside showers and outside showers.
While staying at Camp Kuzuma take the chance to experience our well-appointed
spa with a variety of treatments to pamper yourself while in the bush. Use the
lodge as a base to explore the surrounding areas such as the famous Chobe
reserve, take a cruise on the Chobe River or visit the natural wonder of the
Victoria Falls.
The aim of Camp Kuzuma is to minimize it’s carbon foot print with power
generated through our vast bank of batteries, hot water supplied by solar
geysers and the entire camp is connected by wooden walkways raised 1.2 meter
above ground level.
The abundance of wildlife roaming the private forestry area of Kazuma Plains
is a sight to behold. Herds reaching up to the thousands roam the open plains:
Wilderbeest, Elephant, Buffalo, Roan, Sable and Giraffe. Lion and Leopard are
also commonly seen in the area. It is in this vast wilderness region that Camp
Kuzuma is able to offer activities such as game drives, night drives, bush
walks and Bush dinners from the camp.
